Shopping Roundup

Only a few more weeks are left until Christmas is here. Do you have all of your shopping done? I don't know about you, but I'm totally freaking out because I'm so behind! I did a lot of shopping online this year, and also was able to get some great deals this afternoon while shopping on my lunch break.

~Express is taking 40% off of every single item in the store. I stopped by there today and got a bunch of items for an amazing price. I definitely recommend checking it out!

~Take 30% off of already reduced items at Club Monaco. This deal is available in the store and online when you use the promo code HAPPY30 at checkout.

~New York & Company is taking 50% off of almost everything!

~Stop by Lucky Brand and get up to an extra 50% off of all sale styles. Please take note that this is an online only deal.

~The more you spend, the more you save at Shabby Apple. Take $25 off when you spend $125 with the code 25off, $50 off of $200 with the code 50off, and $100 off of $325 with the code 100off.

~Take up to 30% off of coats at Topshop. They also have free shipping and free returns, as well as half price express shipping.

Something Old, Something New

Do you have that one item in your closet that you cannot live without? For me it is this BDG cardigan that I picked up at Urban Outfitters a few years ago. I wear it all the time. You have seen it on this blog plenty of times. I wear it so much that it is even starting to get holes on it (which makes me so sad!). I love it because it is rather light, comfy, and black. Perfection in my mind!

Don't be fooled by the fact that I'm wearing a cardigan and jeans...it has been so warm here in NYC today all week. I hate this weather. It's in the upper 70s/low 80s! I personally love fall. It's my absolute favorite season. Makes me so sad that we'll probably have a few good weeks where it is in the 50s/60s before it gets freezing cold. UGH!

Oh yeah...and the reason I'm dressed like this is because we had our air conditioner blasting (my husband was hot and I was cold, as usual!).

What is your favorite item in your closet? What do you wear way too often and just can't live without???

Row, Row, Row Your Boat

I'm not really a beach girl, I don't care for boats, and I hate what being by the water does to my hair. But on this particular morning it was in the low 70s, the sun was shining, and there was a refreshing breeze...making me very happy! Oh yeah, and I was wearing polka-dots! An instant mood booster!

I've been on boats a few times in my life...and I swear I always get sick (or almost sick) on them. Even those sea sickness bracelets don't work for me. I'll stick with wearing bangles, thank you very much. What sucks is my husband is obsessed with boats. Probably because he grew up on Long Island. I think for now I'll just look at boats from a distance. Which is exactly why I'm staying on dry land in these photos.

I recently saw a story on New York Live about meals with on boats around NYC. Don't these sea adventures look like a blast? I think I need to grow some sea legs...as soon as possible because I think it might be fun! Right?

Hope you all are having a great week! xoxo
