Green Olives

Fall is practically here (don't mind the mid-80 temperatures coming up this week in NYC), and that has me thinking a lot about fall fashion. I already started doing my fall shopping and it makes me so happy. Isn't it just the best season to dress for? I love fall colors, especially olive! I think everyone needs a little bit of olive in their wardrobe for this autumn. It's a great neutral alternative to black or brown.

Here are some of my favorite items in this fabulous hue-

Mac with Waterfall Front available at ASOS- $126

Women's Classic Twill Shirt available at Old Navy- $26.94

Slim-fit Pants available at H&M- $19.99

Pam Breeze-ly Tunic available at ModCloth- $39.99

Green Jumpsuit available at Banana Republic- on sale for $99.99

Cover Story- Vogue September 2015

Can you believe today is September 1st already? My.mind.is.blown.

Where did the summer go? Where did the year go?

I have to say...September is one of my favorite months. I love the fall. Too bad we're currently in a heatwave here in NYC and it's not feeling anywhere close to autumn. But that's okay because since it is September it means that Fashion Week is right around the corner. Also, Vogue's September issue is out...*sigh*

Here's a look at Vogue's September issues in 2015 around the world...

USA

Germany

Thailand

Australia

Personally, I absolutely love Germany's cover. Something about just screams autumn to me.

Which cover is your favorite?

Sugar Plum

Today I decided to switch things up a bit. I ditched my typical everyday red lips and winged liner for a slightly vampy look. I busted out the plum and had a little fun with it.

So rarely do I wear eyeshadow in a color other than brown or gold...but when I do I wear plum. I tend to lean towards this purple hue because it makes my hazel eyes look so much more green...and I like it when my eyes look green!

I can be a rather quiet person, but one thing I do not shy away from is a bold lip! Adding a bold lip to anyone's look always makes them look polished and confident. Don't you agree?

What are your feelings on plum colored makeup?
