Win a Vintage Bob Mackie Dress on Sammy Davis Vintage

A couple months ago my favorite vintage blogger and friend, Sammy Davis, gave me a call to see if I'd be interested in working with her and Bob Mackie. My answer: Uh...YES! Sammy and Bob Mackie were teaming up to give away an amazing 1980's dress from the legendary designer. Not only did I get to see the amazing piece up close and take the photos, but I also got to check out their NYC headquarters.

This dress has amazing sequin flowers on the shoulders and the bust is a corset style. Sammy looked like a Greek (or Roman?) goddess in this dress. People were actually stopping us in Bryant Park due to the beauty of the gown. Some even thought she was getting married! Oh the people in New York gotta love them!

Be sure to stop by Sammy Davis Vintage to read more about the rules to enter the contest, watch a video Sammy made about the dress, and learn a little more history about Bob Mackie, the dress, and Bryant Park.

Good luck to everyone that enters!!!

Fun With UnitedStyles

I recently came across UnitedStyles. It's a really cool site where you can create your own fashion. They give you designs you can customize adding in color, print, pockets, sleeve length, etc. I'm having so much fun playing around on this site. It's bringing my fashion designer dreams I had when I was a kid to life.

Something that is really cool about UnitedStyles is that they have a Fashion Bloggers Contest going on where every Monday they pick a someone's design...and they win their look! How cool is that??? I have created a very simple dress that I color blocked in my favorite color combo: pink & red. This dress is totally work appropriate and it is screaming Valentine's Day...don't you think?

Anastasia of Beverly Hills Review & Contest

I absolutely love Anastasia of Beverly Hills. So when they told me they were sending over their Wish You Were Here set I was overjoyed!

I love their packaging! So fun, yet so informative.

Don't you just adore the shadow colors? I'm always looking for golds and purples to wear since my eyes are hazel and those shades make the green in my eyes pop. The blues in this set are a little out of my comfort zone (I'm not going to lie to you)...but I think they would work well for a night out.

Trying my best to look like a cool California girl (haha!). I really love the colors and the quality of the makeup. Even though I am wearing makeup I don't feel like I have too much on. I feel natural...yet pretty.

Check out my review-

Do you love Anastasia Beverly Hills as much as I do? They want to give you the chance to win an amazing prize: One winner will receive a round trip ticket to Los Angeles, a 2 night stay, hair and makeup makeover by ABH, a photoshoot with the Anastasia team, and a six month supply of their products! Amazing right??? Check out their website for complete rules on how to enter. GOOD LUCK!
