Fall Is Just Around The Corner

Before you know it autumn will be here, and I couldn't be happier! I welcome the (slightly) cooler weather, hot cider, the smell of dried leaves, pumpkin pies, and most of all fall fashion.

Isn't this dress amazing? I'm loving the midi length, the bow detailing, and the adorable floral & bird print. This dress screams autumn to me...but it's light enough (so light that I had to wear a slip underneath) that I can start wearing it now and slowly transition it into the fall. Adding a cute black jacket over top, or even layering it over a turtleneck or black sheer top will keep you warm while looking extra cool.

What I love most about this look is that I got both the dress and shoes on sale at Lord & Taylor (along with numerous other items you'll see popping up on the blog soon!). Drape Yourself In Velvet

The last few days I have been shopping for some new fall pieces and I'm taking in all the trends for the season. One of my favorite styles for the autumn has to be velvet. I actually even have a few velvet pieces in my closet from years ago that I still couldn't let go of...and thank goodness I held on for as long as I did. Back in style!!!

Get The Look: Gigi Hadid

Nobody has better casual style than off duty supermodels. Granted, they could wear a garbage bag and still look totally amazing. However, when you really take all of the individual pieces like those in this great look that Gigi Hadid is wearing, you realize how wearable they actually are.

A feminine Bardot top is the key piece to this look. What I love about this item is that it is something that just about everyone can wear and look amazing in! Wear it with some jeans (like shown in this post) and it really dresses them up. So much better than a boring tee shirt. Am I right?

Floral Midis for Fall

I really cannot believe that autumn is just around the corner. Don't get me wrong...I'm really happy about it. Fall is easily my most favorite season. The crisp weather, the smell of dried leaves, and the fashion...it doesn't get better than that. 

The one trend that I'm really embracing for the upcoming season has to be floral printed midi dresses. They are so pretty, so chic, and so fun! Slightly retro, full of color, and perfect for almost any occasion...this is a look I can definitely get behind.

The summer is in full swing, which means that sunglasses are a must! I hate spending a ton of money on a pair of shades because I will without a doubt sit on them, scratch them, or lose them.
